When installed, you will see the following button in the Addins tab of the Revit ribbon.
Revit’s backup files are great for restoring projects but they leave our project folders cluttered and difficult to navigate. The Backup Organizer add-in for Revit simply moves all backup files to subfolder, leaving only your project files in the original directory.
There are 4 main settings.
ON / OFF Toggle
Turn the backup organization on or off.
Use the default folder name or create your own. This is the name of the subfolder that will be created alongside your project files.
Maximum Number of Backups
This is the maximum number of backup files to keep (per project).
Optionally choose to organize backups of projects, templates and/or family files.
First, open Days Since and tap the + button in the upper right corner.
The ‘Edit Event’ screen will appear next. You can enter your event details by tapping on the individual items. For instance, tap on ‘New Event’ to change the event title. Tap on the date to change the date you’d like to countdown or count up to.
When you’re finished entering your event details, tap on the ‘Days Since’ back button to view your newly created countdown. Tap on the ‘Events’ back button will return you to your event list.
There are now 7 ways to share your countdowns! A detailed description of each method can be found below.
You must download the Facebook app to use this option & customize your post. Options include:
Previewing your post
Add a custom message
Choose a location
When finished tap ‘Post’ to add this to your timeline.
Note: If the Facebook app is not installed on your device you will be unable to preview your post, add a message, tag friends or choose a location. Once you tap Share a post similar to this one will appear in your activity log. It will also appear in the news feed for your friends to view but it won’t show up on your timeline.
Sharing countdowns using this method uses the built-in iOS Facebook support to post photos. If you’re not already logged in, you’ll need to enter your username and password under iOS Settings > Facebook. With this option you can:
Customize the message
Choose an Album
Choose Set a Location
Adjust the Audience
Tweet & Tweet Screenshot
Sharing countdowns by Twitter uses the built-in iOS Twitter support. If you’re not already logged in, you’ll need to enter your username and password under iOS Settings > Twitter.
If ‘Tweet Screenshot’ was selected, a screenshot will be attached to your tweet.
Sharing countdowns by e-mail will attach a screenshot to a new e-mail. You’ll have the ability to adjust the message and add recipients as you would with any e-mail.
Text & Text Screenshot
Sharing countdowns by text message will create a new text message containing the time since (or time until) your event. If you choose Text Screenshot, your message will also contain your photo. All you’ll have to do is enter a To: recipient and tap Send!
You can download the current version of Days Since on the App Store.
